Position Overview (Center for Economy and Trade): Center for Economy and Trade at CRF aims to shape the policy debate on how to foster a resilient and inclusive global economy. It is a progressive center devoted to addressing critical global issues within the realms of economics, trade, and commerce. The Center of Economy and Trade is accepting applications for a Research Assistant. The Research Assistant will report directly to the Senior/Associate Fellow of CRF and is expected to conduct in-depth, high quality public policy research in areas of their expertise;
support in publicationsand engage with stakeholders to promote our events.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect and analyze data from various sources to support research initiatives related to economic and trade policies, industry trends, global economic forecasts.
- Conduct in-depth research and data analysis for the focus areas.
- Contribute to the creation of research reports, policy papers, and articles of the highest quality and relevance.
- Organize, manage, and document research materials to support ongoing projects at CRF.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for events, seminars, and workshops.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Master’s degree, preferably in Economics, International Trade, Public Policy or a related field.
- Understanding of current policy debates concerning economics and trade at both national and international levels.
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and research software.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and team ethics.
