Position: Economics Teacher – AI Trainer

Compensation: $59 – $111/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures on econometrics, price theory, macroeconomics, and related economics subjects.
• Design and develop course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and digital resources for AI-enhanced learning platforms.
• Conduct academic or applied economics research and contribute findings to professional publications or media.
• Collaborate with AI development teams to improve AI training data using real-world teaching expertise.
• Evaluate and grade coursework and research outputs according to academic standards.
• Stay updated on developments in economics and AI-enabled education methods.
• Foster an inclusive and engaging remote learning environment for students.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Economics or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience teaching economics at the postsecondary level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong instructional clarity.
• Proven ability to develop course content for digital and remote learning environments.
• Experience conducting and publishing academic or applied research.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Comfort working in a fully remote, technology-driven environment.
• Experience with AI, machine learning, or educational technology projects is a plus.
• Research or practical experience intersecting economics and digital education is advantageous.
• Participation in professional economics or education communities is preferred.
