Industry: Financial Services / Corporate Accounting sector. We support end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting for India-based clients. This is an on-site accounting role focused on transactional bookkeeping, reconciliations, and compliance.

About The Opportunity

Globelance is hiring an on-site Junior Accountant to join our finance team in India. You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, vendor and customer invoicing, GST support, and month-end activities—ensuring accurate records and timely statutory filings while learning scalable accounting practices in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Role & Responsibilities

- Process and record vendor invoices and customer receipts; maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with supporting documentation.
- Prepare and support monthly closing activities: journal entries, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
- Assist with GST-related tasks including invoice validation, return preparation support, and coordination with external tax consultants.
- Support payroll processing and statutory remittances as needed (data entry, timesheet validation, pay-run support).
- Maintain proper filing and documentation for audits; respond to internal and external audit queries.
