Our Group, Web-properties under Nasdaq Enterprise Solutions is a leader in building and delivering advanced web, mobile, and cloud-based services. With this position we offer : Web properties team is looking for a leadership role for a talented team of individuals with expertise in Web Development using cutting edge technologies. Team is responsible for building high performance application stack to meet business requirements. Web Properties manages the company’s primary website, Nasdaq.com, as well as other corporate websites, working closely with the Marketing and Branding organization. Your role and responsibilities : As a Director – Software Engineer, you will lead a high performing full stack engineering team responsible for delivering complex, scalable and high-quality market data and digital solutions. While the focus includes overseeing delivery of market data related Initiatives, the role spans broader ownership across the full stack applications, ensuring seamless integration into the design system, performance and business impact. This leadership role is expected to drive execution excellence, strengthen Agile ways of working, cultivate engineering best practices, and partners closely with product, architecture and business stakeholders to deliver value at speed and scale. Key Responsibilities include: Leadership and Team Management Lead, mentor, and group full stack engineers ( front end, back end and market-data). Build a high-trust, high-performing culture focused on innovation, accountability and continuous improvement. Plan team structure, hiring, and capability development. Delivery and Execution Oversee delivery of web and market data related initiatives with strong execution discipline. Partner with Product, Architecture, Process and Marketing team for road map execution. Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery metrics. Ensure predictable agile delivery with consistent Sprint planning and release cadence. Translate business goals into actionable technical plans. Operational Excellence Ensure data displayed on the website is accurate, timely and consistent across API backe-end services and UI. Root cause analysis, incident prevention, and continuous reliability improvement. Partner with SRE/DevOps team to enhance the strong resilience, observability and scalability. Technical Stewardhsip Drive Architecture decisions, and align with long term architecture strategy. Champion engineering best practices in code quality, automation, testing, CI/CD and DevSecOps. We expect you to have : Minimum 14+ years of Software Development experience with 4+ years in leadership roles. Proven track record in leading Full stack engineering teams. Experience with data-driven features, pipelines or integrations. Strong understanding of modern web technologies, cloud platforms and distributed systems. Background in agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban). Experience driving operational excellence and site reliability. Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification. It would be great if you : US Markets and trading platforms. Knowledge in Drupal or one of the Content Management System.
