The Director of Technology and Innovation is an administrative leader who reports to the School Director and works collaboratively with the senior leadership team and the school-wide tech team. This role is responsible for developing a long-term technology and innovation vision tied to the AES Mission. The Director oversees a team of 10 staff members managing all technology areas and serves as the leader of our K-12 Educational Technology programs.

Mandatory qualifications and experience

• An advanced degree in educational technology (preferred) and a commitment to continued professional learning.
• Substantial experience in working with teachers on instructional technology integration and progressive pedagogy.
• Strong technical knowledge of educational technologies, data privacy, and protection (GDPR knowledge preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to be a visionary leader with excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of teaching and learning theories as they relate to technology and innovation.
