    Position Overview

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of International Operations to join our growing team in India. This role will play a critical leadership position within the firm, working closely with senior leadership based in the United States. The Director of International Operations will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling the India-based team while driving operational efficiency, quality, and execution across multiple functions that support the firm’s global activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    Team Leadership & Operations Management
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and oversee the India-based team across various operational functions
  • Drive operational efficiency, process improvements, and quality standards
  • Ensure high-quality execution and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) on final work products
  • Support cross-functional collaboration between India and U.S. teams

  • Middle Office Functions
  • Oversee deal pipeline management and reporting
  • Manage CRM systems and ensure data integrity
  • Support deal sourcing initiatives and outreach coordination
  • Review and manage NDAs

  • Back Office Functions
  • Supervise internal accounting coordination and financial documentation
  • Review and approve expenses
  • Maintain and enhance internal reporting processes
  • Support Limited Partner reporting and returns calculations

  • Portfolio Company Oversight
  • Monitor and track monthly KPIs and financial performance of portfolio companies
  • Track covenant compliance and maintain related documentation

  • Front Office Support
  • Oversee financial due diligence activities, including:
  • Three-statement financial modelling
  • Databook creation
  • Drafting investment memorandums
  • Participate in weekly Investment Committee meetings and provide analytical support

  • Qualifications & Prerequisites
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, including leadership experience building and managing teams in financial services, investment banking, private credit, private equity, or related fields
  • Strong academic background with a bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Management, Business Studies, or a related discipline from a reputable institution
  • Demonstrated expertise in investment analysis and advanced financial modelling
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with global teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple functions and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment
