As Director, Catalog Platform & Operations, you will be responsible for leading and scaling catalog operations across various business verticals such as Food & Grocery, Apparel, Footwear, Consumer Electronics, and other lifestyle categories in a seller marketplace environment. Your role will involve strategic leadership, catalog operations management, process & platform development, stakeholder management, and team leadership & development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define the vision, roadmap, and operational strategies for the catalog function across multiple business verticals.
- Drive alignment between business, category, seller, and technology teams to ensure a seamless product listing and discovery experience.
- Establish best practices for cataloging unstructured products at scale.
- Oversee creation, enrichment, standardization, and quality control of product catalogs for various categories.
- Implement strong classification, taxonomy, and attribute frameworks for diverse product categories.
- Own Outcome Metrics such as discoverability, conversion, and customer experience through optimized catalog data.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and deploy scalable catalog management tools and automation solutions.
- Drive improvements in speed, accuracy, and efficiency of catalog creation and maintenance.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate product listings.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing catalog operations team.
- Establish governance frameworks, SLAs, and performance metrics for catalog-related workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience: 10+ years in eCommerce, Retail, or Marketplace operations, with at least 3 to 5 years in cataloging or product content management.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Apparel, Footwear, and related lifestyle categories.
- Technology Collaboration: Proven experience in working with product & engineering teams to build cataloging tools and frameworks.
- Process Expertise: Managing catalog operations at scale, including complex product types.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret large datasets for optimization opportunities.
- Leadership Skills: Track record of leading diverse teams with change management capabilities.
- Communication: Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
