Direct-Response VSL Editor – 10‑Min Hormozi-Style Sales Video

We need an experienced direct-response video editor to assemble and optimize a 10‑minute Video Sales Letter (VSL) for an RV buying company.
This is not a from‑scratch project. All creative assets are pre-built and organized in Google Drive.

You'll receive:
  • HeyGen AI avatar talkinghead video (primary speaker)
  • 15+ AIgenerated photorealistic B‑roll images
  • Ambient background music track
  • Full script
  • Detailed editor notes
  • 3 YouTube reference videos for pacing and style (Hormozistyle text and cuts)

  • Your job is to turn this into a high-converting, professional VSL, then output it in multiple formats for our landing page and ads.

    What You'll Do:
  • Assemble the main 10‑min VSL according to the script and notes
  • Use bold keyword text overlays on key phrases (Hormozi style)
  • Create smooth quickcut transitions:
  • 5–10 sec talking head → 3–6 sec B‑roll → back to talking head
  • Use pictureinpicture (PiP) layouts where the speaker stays on screen while B‑roll plays
  • Maintain tight, consistent pacing that holds attention for the full 10 minutes
  • Add subtle zooms and pans on still images to create movement
  • Mix a low ambient music bed under the voice so it's clean and clear

  • Required Deliverables:

    From the same core edit, we want:
  • Master VSL – 16:9 Desktop (Landing Page)
  • 10‑minute MP4, 1920x1080, H.264
  • Optimized for desktop viewing on a landing page
  • Clean intro, clear section transitions, strong close + CTA end card
  • Mobile-Optimized 16:9 Version
  • Same content, but:
  • Larger captions and text overlays for small screens
  • Safe text margins (no edge clipping on mobile)
  • Clear CTA framing for mobile landing page / infeed use
  • Vertical 9:16 Version (For Reels / Shorts / Stories)
  • Reformatted framing for 9:16 (no chopped heads or text)
  • Burnedin captions
  • Hooky first 3–5 seconds, clear CTA end card to "See what your RV is worth"

  • Hook Variations:
  • 2–3 alternate intros (first 10–15 seconds) for testing
  • Each delivered in both 16:9 and 9:16

  • Files & Revisions:
  • Revision rounds included
  • Delivery of project files (Premiere / Resolve / etc.)
  • All exports clearly labeled (e.g., VSL_Master_16x9, VSL_Mobile_16x9, VSL_9x16, Hook2_16x9, etc.)

  • Who We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience with VSLs or direct‑response ads (not just vlogs / wedding films)
  • Strong sense of pacing, pattern interrupts, and conversionfocused storytelling
  • Comfortable suggesting trims/reorders to improve clarity and retention
