Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead detailed planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical works in line with project timelines and budgets, ensuring all activities comply with Adani’s standards and regulatory requirements.
  • System Design and Review: Collaborate with design teams to review and optimize electrical system designs, including power distribution, switchgear, transformers, and control systems, to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime and lifecycle.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Provide expert guidance and solutions to resolve complex electrical issues during construction, commissioning, and operational phases.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure electrical operations comply with statutory regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies aligned with Adani’s commitment to sustainable practices.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and supply chain management.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and accountability.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, maintain project documentation, and provide regular status updates to senior management, facilitating transparent communication and decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Initiate and drive process improvements, leveraging technological advancements and industry best practices to enhance project quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.

8-15 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering roles within the thermal power projects industry, demonstrating expertise in electrical system design, installation, maintenance, and project management.
