What awaits you/ Job Profile

As a Data Scientist in the Brake System team, you will play a key role in shaping BMW’s central platform for brake?related test and simulation data. The cloud?based analysis and visualization platform enables brake engineers to efficiently evaluate, compare, and interpret large volumes of data throughout vehicle development.

Your main responsibility is the development and operation of data?driven solutions that support brake system engineering decisions. You will design and implement Python?based data processing pipelines for structured test, measurement, and simulation data, ensuring high data quality and reliability across different data sources.

A central part of your role is the creation of interactive dashboards and analysis applications (e.g. using Plotly Dash) that allow engineers to explore results intuitively, compare test scenarios, and gain insights faster. You will continuously integrate new data sources and further develop existing analysis functions in close collaboration with domain experts. In addition, you will support the cloud?based operation, primarily on AWS, and contribute to the continuous improvement of data pipelines, performance, and system robustness.

Joining BMW TechWorks India means becoming part of an innovative, dynamic team that drives digital transformation in automotive engineering. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and automotive data, contributing directly to the future of vehicle safety and performance.
