Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Research Analyst with experience in the IT industry. The candidate will be responsible for conducting market and industry research, identifying business opportunities, supporting tender research, and providing insights to support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market & Industry Research

• Conduct detailed research on IT industry trends, technologies, competitors, and market opportunities.
• Gather and analyze data related to software services, IT solutions, and digital transformation trends.
• Prepare research reports and presentations for internal teams and management.

2. Tender & Opportunity Research

• Identify and track relevant IT tenders on portals such as GeM, CPPP, and government e-procurement portals.
• Analyze tender requirements and provide summarized insights to the business team.
• Support the preparation of documentation required for tender and proposal submissions.

3. Business Intelligence & Data Analysis

• Collect, interpret, and analyze data to support business development and strategy.
• Prepare market intelligence reports, competitor analysis, and opportunity mapping.
• Maintain databases of potential clients, projects, and market insights.

4. Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with business development, sales, and management teams to provide research-based insights.
• Present findings in structured reports, dashboards, or presentations.
• Track and monitor market opportunities for business growth.

Required Skills

• Strong research and analytical skills
• Good understanding of the IT / Software industry ecosystem
• Ability to analyze large datasets and derive insights
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and online research tools
• Strong documentation and report preparation skills
• Ability to interpret technical and business information effectively

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with government tender portals (GeM, CPPP, e-procurement portals)
• Understanding of software services, SaaS products, or IT consulting industry
• Knowledge of market research methodologies and competitive analysis
