Job Summary

We are looking for a Data Engineer (ETL – Informatica) with 3–5 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ETL development, SQL, and data warehousing concepts, along with exposure to enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

ETL Development

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter / IDMC (IICS)
• Build scalable data pipelines from enterprise systems and external data sources
• Develop mappings, workflows, transformations, and reusable components

Data Integration & Quality

• Implement data transformation, validation, and reconciliation logic
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems
• Handle ETL error logging, debugging, and recovery mechanisms

Performance Optimization

• Optimize ETL pipelines using:
• Query tuning
• Partitioning strategies
• Incremental data loads
• Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot production issues

Collaboration

• Work with data architects, BI teams, and business stakeholders
• Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery cycles and sprint planning

Mandatory Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in ETL / Data Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica IICS / IDMC
• Strong SQL skills (Oracle / SQL Server / Teradata / PostgreSQL)
• Solid understanding of:
• Data Warehousing concepts
• ETL design patterns (SCD, CDC, incremental loads)
• Experience in:
• Informatica mappings, workflows, transformations
• Data validation, reconciliation, and error handling
• Exposure to Unix/Shell scripting and job schedulers (Control-M or similar)
• Experience in ETL performance tuning and optimization
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Snowflake or cloud data warehouses
• Exposure to banking / financial services domain
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹575,558.73 - ₹1,987,720.54 per year
