Hiring: Ontology Data Architect (Palantir Foundry)

Location : Remote, IN

Duration : 12 Months contract

We’re looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise ontologies on the Palantir platform . This role sits at the intersection of data modeling, business domain knowledge, and product delivery — focused on real adoption and real business impact.

What You’ll Do

• Design and evolve business-driven ontologies that reflect real operational processes
• Work with product teams to align ontology elements with key user journeys
• Translate domain expertise into clear, maintainable semantic structures
• Collaborate with data engineers to map, enrich, and contextualize data into the ontology
• Define semantic patterns, guardrails, and best practices for reuse across teams
• Enable faster product delivery by standardizing and operationalizing ontology assets

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in data modeling / ontology design in complex environments
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry ontologies (or similar platforms)
• Ability to work closely with business and product teams — not just engineers
• Comfortable iterating fast and evolving models based on real usage
• Strong domain translation skills and ability to simplify complex concepts

Nice to Have

• Experience in industrial or asset-heavy domains
• Background in data engineering or analytics
• Familiarity with metadata, governance, and semantic catalog concepts
