Position: Dance Teacher

Mount Litera Zee School, Bihta invites applications from energetic and talented individuals for the position of Dance Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for developing students’ interest and skills in dance while promoting creativity, confidence, and cultural appreciation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Dance Instruction

• Teach various forms of dance such as classical, folk, and contemporary styles to students of different age groups.
• Plan and conduct structured dance classes and practice sessions for students.

2. Student Development

• Encourage students to express themselves through movement, rhythm, and performance.
• Train students to participate in school cultural programmes, competitions, and events.

3. Event Preparation

• Choreograph and coordinate dance performances for school functions, annual day, festivals, and inter-school competitions.
• Guide students during rehearsals and stage presentations.

4. Classroom & Discipline Management

• Maintain discipline and ensure a safe and positive practice environment.
• Supervise students during dance practice sessions.

5. School Participation

• Assist in organizing cultural activities, celebrations, and artistic programmes in the school.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma or Degree in Dance / Performing Arts or relevant training in any recognized dance form.

Experience:

• Freshers can apply.
• Prior teaching or choreography experience will be an added advantage.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of dance techniques and rhythm.
• Ability to choreograph performances for students.
• Good communication and mentoring skills.

• Transport facility available from Patna (IGIMS) to the school campus.
