Key Responsibilities

- Teach various dance styles such as classical, contemporary, hip-hop, folk, or western dance to students of different age groups.
- Plan and conduct structured dance classes aligned with school schedules.
- Choreograph routines for school events, annual days, cultural programs, and competitions.
- Train and mentor students for inter-school dance competitions and performances.
- Encourage creativity, teamwork, and self-expression among students.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure student safety during rehearsals and performances.
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in dance classes.
- Collaborate with teachers and school management for event planning.
- Assist in organizing dance workshops, auditions, and rehearsals.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Dance, Performing Arts, or related field (preferred).
- Professional training in one or more dance forms.
- Certification from recognized dance institutes is an advantage.

Experience

- 1–3+ years of experience teaching dance to children or in schools/academies.
- Experience choreographing group performances and preparing students for competitions.

Working Conditions
