Key Responsibilities

• Teach various dance styles such as classical, contemporary, hip-hop, folk, or western dance to students of different age groups.
• Plan and conduct structured dance classes aligned with school schedules.
• Choreograph routines for school events, annual days, cultural programs, and competitions.
• Train and mentor students for inter-school dance competitions and performances.
• Encourage creativity, teamwork, and self-expression among students.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure student safety during rehearsals and performances.
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in dance classes.
• Collaborate with teachers and school management for event planning.
• Assist in organizing dance workshops, auditions, and rehearsals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Dance, Performing Arts, or related field (preferred).
• Professional training in one or more dance forms.
• Certification from recognized dance institutes is an advantage.

Experience

• 1–3+ years of experience teaching dance to children or in schools/academies.
• Experience choreographing group performances and preparing students for competitions.

Working Conditions
