Position Description: We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant to join our CGI team! Support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of D365 F&O solutions. Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective system designs, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational objectives. This position can be done remotely anywhere in the US. However, the preferred location is San Diego, CA; a hybrid working model is acceptable. Must work EST hours! Your future duties and responsibilities: How you'll make an impact Lead and support end-to-end D365 Finance & Operations implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment . Act as a functional subject matter expert for one or more D365 F&O modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Retail, Project Operations) . Conduct business process analysis and translate requirements into functional design documents (FDDs) . Configure D365 F&O modules in accordance with business needs and Microsoft best practices . Collaborate closely with technical consultants and developers to support customizations, integrations, and data migrations . Support UAT planning and execution, including test case creation, defect triage, and resolution . Deliver end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer . Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations . Ensure compliance with governance, security, and data standards . Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, offering guidance on system capabilities and process optimization Required qualifications to be successful in this role: What you'll bring . 5+ Years of proven experience as a D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant . Strong hands-on experience with at least one core D365 F&O module (Finance, SCM, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, etc.) . Solid understanding of ERP business processes and cross-functional dependencies . Experience with full lifecycle ERP implementations . Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional system designs . Strong communication and stakeholder management skills . Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models . Microsoft certifications in Dynamics D365 Finance/Supply Chain highly desirable . Experience with associated tools and technologies such as SQL Reporting Services or Microsoft Power Platform are highly desirable . Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills . Proven demonstration and presentation skills Key Competencies: . Analytical and problem-solving skills . Consulting background or experience working in a client-facing environment . Industry experience (e.g., manufacturing, retail, public sector, energy, financial services) . The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $188,100.00.
