  • *Job Function/Role Summary**

  • The Culinary Expert in the Food & Beverages product development unit at FRL, Chennai will play a pivotal role in creating and refining recipes tailored to client requirements. This role involves standardizing recipes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, including AWAES, FSSAI, FDA, and EU regulations. The Culinary Expert will collaborate closely with food technologists and regulatory experts to develop innovative and compliant food products that meet global standards. Document ingredients, formulations, processes, and testing involved with new product research and development or enhancements to existing products. You will also participate in sensory evaluations and trials of products.
  • *Travel**

  • Travels domestically to and from multiple facilities or worksites, often requiring overnight stays. Approximately 25% travel.
  • *Work Schedule**:
  • Full Time, Monday to Saturday, 10:00a.m. to 7:00pm. Hours may vary on occasion, depending on workload.

  • Physical Activities: Enters and locates information on a computer. Visually verifies information, often in small print. Communicates with Customers, Vendors, or Employees via telephone, in person, and/or electronic mail. May present information to small or large groups. Must be able to work in various temperatures. Move about in a manufacturing workplace, kitchen environment, office environment, and surrounding property. Lifts heavy boxes, equipment or other required objects (up to 50 lbs) as needed. Will use laboratory/kitchen/cooking equipment.
