Job Summary:
A Leading Hospital in Haldwani Uttarakhand is seeking an experienced and dedicated Critical Care Physician to join our esteemed team. The ideal candidate will provide expert medical care to critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Cardiac Care Unit (CCU). This role involves delivering advanced diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Management: Lead the medical care of critically ill patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and continuous monitoring of complex conditions.
Interventions: Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and management of mechanical ventilation.
Collaborative Care: Work closely with a team of nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Communication: Provide clear and compassionate communication with patients and their families, explaining conditions, treatment options, and prognosis.
Emergency Response: Lead the response to medical emergencies within the ICU/CCU, ensuring rapid and appropriate interventions.
Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of patient care, including histories, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Teaching: Mentor and educate medical residents, fellows, and other healthcare providers in critical care practices and protocols.
Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects aimed at enhancing the care and outcomes for critically ill patients.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
Education:
Medical degree (MD or DNB) from an accredited institution.
Licensure/Certification:
Certification in Critical Care Medicine.
Current state medical license.

Experience:
Minimum of 0 to 20 years of experience in critical care medicine.

Skills:
Proficiency in advanced life support techniques and critical care procedures.
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
