Role Summary

The Creator Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining high-impact relationships with creators, managing all aspects of execution for the GM collectors initiative, and serving as the primary point of contact between creators and internal teams. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, multitasking, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of modern creator ecosystems and social platforms. The Creator Manager will ensure seamless execution of creator collaborations from briefing through reporting.

Core Responsibilities

1. Creator Relationship Management
  • Build, nurture, and manage strong relationships with creators, influencers, and talent across platforms.
  • Understand individual creator needs, motivations, strengths, content style, and audience profiles.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for creators throughout the collaboration lifecycle.
  • Proactively engage with creators for potential future collaborations.

  • 2. Communication and Coordination
  • Facilitate smooth communication between creators and internal stakeholders including strategy, creative, operations, and client leadership.
  • Translate internal briefs into creator-friendly instructions and expectations.
  • Host alignment calls, briefing sessions, and check-ins with creators.
  • Maintain clear and consistent written communication with all parties.

  • 3. Negotiation and Commercial Alignment
  • Lead contract negotiations with creators and their representatives.
  • Negotiate pricing, deliverables, timelines, exclusivity, usage rights, and performance incentives.
  • Ensure commercial terms align with internal budget and brand expectations.
  • Document and finalize agreements in collaboration with legal or contracts teams where required.

  • 4. Planning and Execution
  • Coordinate timelines, content deliverables, and execution calendars.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure internal stakeholders are aligned on campaign timelines, approvals, and go-live dates.
  • Track creator outputs against agreed deliverables and milestones.
  • Ensure adherence to content guidelines, platform requirements, and brand standards.

  • 5. Project Management
  • Manage multiple creator relationships and campaigns simultaneously with strong organization and prioritization.
  • Maintain detailed trackers for creator deliverables, timelines, payments, revisions, and assets.
  • Proactively flag risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities to stakeholders.

  • 6. Social Networking and Industry Mapping
  • Continuously scout, identify, and build pipelines of new and relevant creators aligned to the brand and campaign goals.
  • Stay updated on creator trends, platform best practices, content formats, and emerging talent.
  • Attend industry events, creator meet-ups, community spaces, and networking forums to build quality connections.

  • 7. Performance Tracking and Reporting
  • Monitor performance of creator content based on agreed KPIs (views, engagement, traffic, conversions, sentiment, etc.).
  • Generate post-campaign reports synthesizing insights, learnings, and optimization opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations on future creator engagement strategies based on data and qualitative feedback.

  • 8. Internal Advocacy and Feedback
  • Serve as the voice of the creator internally—represent creator needs, constraints, and feedback.
  • Support internal teams in refining briefs, improving execution processes, and reducing friction.
  • Be proactive in elevating creator nuances to strategy and creative leads.

  • Key Deliverables
  • Creator pipeline lists with profiles, engagement metrics, audience demographics, and fit rationale.
  • Contracts and negotiated terms sheets.
  • Detailed execution calendars and delivery trackers.
  • Performance dashboards and post-campaign analysis.
  • Relationship health logs and long-term partnership plans.
