We are hiring a cook for a hostel, the candidate should be expert in Bulk Cooking. We will be providing Free Fooding with Lodging (Accommodation).

Responsibilities:

Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes, International cuisine, and Indo Chinese food.

• Demonstrate proficiency in handling diverse ingredients and cooking techniques.

Menu Planning: Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan balanced and appealing menus.

• Ensure variety and nutritional value in daily meal offerings.

Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene.

• Conduct regular checks on ingredients and ensure freshness.

Kitchen Operations: Efficiently manage kitchen resources and maintain an organized workspace.

• Monitor and manage inventory to avoid shortages or wastage.

Adaptability: Adjust recipes and portion sizes according to the number of hostel residents.

• Accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

• Provide guidance and support to kitchen assistants as needed.

Requirements:

Culinary Skills: Proven experience in cooking South Indian, International, and Indo Chinese dishes.

• Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.

Flexibility: Ability to adapt to different dietary requirements and preferences.

• Willingness to learn and incorporate new recipes.

Organization: Excellent organizational skills to manage kitchen operations efficiently.
