Role Overview

We are looking for a creative content writer & video scriptwriter who can write high-engagement scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube long-form videos in the stock market / fintech space.

This is a content-first role focused on scriptwriting, storytelling, and execution, with ownership from idea → script → shoot support → posting → audience interaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Scriptwriting & Content Ideation (Primary Focus)

• Write engaging scripts for:

Instagram Reels

YouTube Shorts

YouTube long-form videos

• Simplify complex stock market & finance topics into:

Relatable explanations

Meme-led & influencer-style content

Trend-based short-form videos

• Craft strong:

Hooks

Storytelling structures

CTAs

• Write in English & Hinglish (Hindi preferred)

2. Shoot Assistance & Creative Direction

• Be present during shoots to:

Guide creators/actors on dialogue delivery, pacing & expressions

Ensure scripts are executed as written

• Coordinate with creators/actors when required
• Give clear creative direction to editors:

Flow, cuts, pacing, emphasis & on-screen text

• Ensure content aligns with brand tone & compliance

3. Posting, Publishing & Audience Engagement

• Post content on:

Instagram

YouTube

• Write captions, titles, descriptions & hashtags optimised for reach
• Engage with the audience by:

Replying to comments

Answering basic DMs

Encouraging discussion & saves

• Observe audience reactions and feedback to:

Improve future scripts

Refine hooks & storytelling

(This role involves active platform ownership, not just writing scripts.)

4. Platform & Content Understanding

• Understand what works differently on:

Instagram Reels

YouTube Shorts

YouTube long-form videos

• Stay updated with trends, hooks, formats & creator styles
• Track basic performance metrics (views, engagement, retention) and suggest improvements

Required Skills

Strong scriptwriting & content ideation skills

Experience writing scripts for Reels / Shorts / YouTube videos

Ability to think camera-first & performance-first

Comfortable assisting during shoots & giving direction

Comfortable posting content and engaging with audiences

Good command over English & Hinglish

• Basic understanding of the stock market or strong willingness to learn

Good to Have

• Experience writing finance / stock market / business content
• Experience working with creators or influencer-led content
• Knowledge of short-form video storytelling
• Experience coordinating with editors

• Someone who only schedules posts without content involvement
• Someone who only edits videos
• Someone who wants a purely desk-based writing role with no execution

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
