Role Overview

We're hiring a Content Specialist to write high-impact short-form copy across Push Notifications, WhatsApp, SMS, and RCS.

You'll own the messaging layer of our lifecycle communication — from welcome sequences to win-back campaigns. The ideal candidate has a sharp instinct for concise, conversion-driven writing and understands how a well-crafted message can influence customer behavior and drive revenue.

Experience with lifecycle marketing platforms such as CleverTap, MoEngage, or Braze is a strong advantage, but not a prerequisite — we value strong writing ability and are happy to provide platform training.

Key Responsibilities:

Content & Copy (Primary Focus)
  • Write high-conversion micro-copy for Push Notifications, WhatsApp, SMS, and RCS across promotional, transactional, and lifecycle touchpoints.
  • Develop multiple hooks, CTAs, and tone variations for each campaign to enable continuous testing.
  • Tailor voice and messaging by channel, audience segment, and funnel stage — from awareness through to retention.
  • Build and maintain a structured copy library of templates, proven messaging frameworks, and seasonal campaign assets.
  • Collaborate with brand, design, and product teams to ensure messaging consistency across all customer touchpoints.

  • Campaign Support & Experimentation
  • Set up and schedule campaigns within the CRM platform (training provided where needed).
  • Plan and execute structured A/B and multivariate tests on subject lines, copy length, personalization, and send timing.
  • Monitor campaign dashboards (CTR, conversion, repeat rate) and use performance data to inform copy decisions.
  • Support lifecycle journey development — welcome series, abandoned cart, reactivation, and repeat purchase flows — with a focus on the messaging layer.

  • Requirements:

    Must-Haves
  • 1–3 years of experience in short-form content writing, ad copywriting, CRM messaging, or a similar role where brevity and clarity are essential.
  • A portfolio or writing samples demonstrating strong, conversion-oriented short-form copy (not limited to long-form or editorial work).
  • A test-and-learn mindset — you treat every campaign as an opportunity to iterate and improve.
  • Strong understanding of consumer tone and brand voice with the ability to adapt across contexts.

  • Good-to-Haves
  • Hands-on experience with CleverTap, MoEngage, Braze, WebEngage, or similar lifecycle/CRM platforms.
  • Background in D2C, skincare, beauty, health, or consumer brands.
  • Familiarity with user segmentation, cohort analysis, and marketing funnel fundamentals.
  • Comfort reading performance dashboards and interpreting campaign metrics.
