As a Consultant (Finance- Direct Tax & Audit) at our Corporate office in Baner-Pune on a 12-month contract, your role involves being a key team member in the statutory audit and tax function. You will provide insights to senior management to drive tax compliance. Your responsibilities include:

- Preparation of Financial Statements and tax working
- Maintain accounts of ASPL and ensure timely processing of documentations as and when required
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable GAAP and statutory laws (Ind AS/IGAAP/Others)
- Prepare plant wise financial statements for each financial year
- Prepare quarterly advance tax workings
- Prepare financial model and projects as per management requirement

- Income tax Compliances
- Ensure timely Income tax compliances like Income tax return, Tax audit, etc.
- Maintain income tax litigation tracker and monthly reporting to management

- Co-ordination & support
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely completion of audits
- Coordinate with auditors for certificates as and when required by management or other functions
- Support in preparation of responses to income tax notices and assessments as required
- Review of 24Q Statement of TDS for each quarter and giving timely response
- Fulfill other management requirements on a need basis

Qualifications required for this role:
- CA Qualified with a minimum of 1 year of experience in handling statutory audits and income tax compliances.
- Previous experience of working with reputed mid-size CA firms or preparing Ind AS financial statements or group reporting.
