Conceptual Designer – Environmental Graphic Design (EGD)

Experience: 2–3 Years Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a concept-driven designer who can translate themes, narratives, and brand stories into meaningful spatial graphic experiences.

This role requires someone who can independently develop multiple design directions and carry them through to well-crafted visual outputs ready for production.

We are not looking for someone who only executes. We are looking for a thinker — someone who questions, explores, builds narratives, and designs with intent.

Key Responsibilities

1. Concept Development

• Develop multiple creative concepts based on research, site context, and client briefs.
• Translate themes and brand values into spatial graphic narratives.
• Build mood boards, visual directions, storytelling frameworks, and presentation decks.
• Contribute actively to brainstorming and internal design reviews.

2. Design & Execution

• Design large-scale environmental graphics (walls, glass films, installations, etc.)
• Create sketches, graphic compositions, and visual layouts.
• Design with scale in mind, understanding how graphics function in a 3D environment.
• Participate in client presentations when required.
• Adapt designs based on feedback while maintaining conceptual integrity.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of experience in Environmental Graphic Design / Branding / Spatial Graphics.
• Strong conceptual thinking ability — portfolio must show process, exploration, and multiple directions.
• Ability to move from research → concept → design development → final artwork.
• Strong typography, composition, and layout skills.
• Understanding of scale and spatial application.
• Clear communication and presentation skills

Even if you have never worked in the EGD industry but have a strong ability to tell stories for physical spaces, you are encouraged to apply.

Bonus If You Have

• Experience designing for corporate workspaces.
• Strong illustration skills.
• Understanding of materials and production processes.
• Ability to read and interpret floor plans.
