We’re looking for passionate Commi Chefs who enjoys learning fast and being part of a kitchen that takes its food seriously.

At G.O.A.T., our kitchen is where indulgence gets built - from gelato and brownies to dessert components, sauces, toppings, and everything in between. This role is for someone who wants to learn, improve their craft, and grow inside a fast-paced product kitchen, while working alongside a team that cares deeply about flavour, consistency, and doing things the right way.

Responsibilities -
  • Day-to-day production based on demand forecasts and inventory management. You got to keep things running smoothly, with a keen eye on storage and logistics
  • Follow recipes and SOPs carefully to ensure consistency and quality
  • Help with ingredient preparation, mise en place, and daily kitchen prep
  • Implement and enforce strict hygiene and safety protocols to guarantee a clean and safe working environment
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of kitchen fundamentals and best practices
  • Follow FIFO practices, assist in storing ingredients and finished products properly
  • Bring fresh ideas to the table, contributing to our ongoing quest for product innovation
  • Monthly reporting, KPIs, and data analysis - track production efficiency, waste, and product performance. Help us continuously improve and push for that greatness
  • Be open to learning new techniques, ingredients, and processes

  • Requirements -
  • 1+ years of experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or in a similar role (Fresh grads from top culinary institutions welcome - if you’ve got the passion, we’ve got the platform)
  • Willingness to learn and work in a structured kitchen environment
  • You take pride in your product but are open to constructive feedback and change
  • Understanding of flavours, leaveners, temperature guides, textures and baking techniques
  • Auditory and Visual abilities to observe and detect signs of emergency
  • Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and systems carefully
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
  • You appreciate startup culture; willing to wear multiple hats and take on diverse roles and changing priorities
  • You’ll need to bring your own device
  • We work 6 days a week
  • This is a hands-on role - expect to create, experiment, and learn by doing
