A Student Enrolment Advisor (College Admissions Executive) is responsible for speaking directly with students and parents who are exploring college admissions and guiding them toward the right enrolment decision.

This is a high-communication, phone-driven sales role where most conversations happen through outbound calls, follow-ups, and consultation calls with students and parents.

The role combines sales, advisory, and relationship building, where your ability to communicate clearly, ask the right questions, and guide decisions determines success.

What You Will Do

1. Outbound Calling to Prospective Students & Parents

The majority of the role involves calling students and parents who have shown interest in college admissions through inquiries, forms, or campaigns.

Daily responsibilities include:

- Calling prospective students and parents
- Introducing Steps to College and the admission support available
- Starting meaningful conversations about their admission goals

This role requires consistent outbound calling and follow-ups throughout the day.

2. Understand the Student’s Situation

During conversations you will:

- Understand the student’s Class 12 results or entrance exam results
- Identify their preferred course (MBBS, BTech, BBA, etc.)
- Understand budget, location preference, and career goals
- Identify challenges they are facing in the admission process

3. Guide the Right Admission Options

Explain available admission pathways including:

- Suitable colleges
- Admission timelines
- Eligibility requirements
- Steps required to secure admission

The objective is to simplify a complex decision for families.

4. Handle Questions and Objections

Students and parents often have concerns around:

- College quality
- Fee structures
- Admission processes
- Career outcomes

You will guide these conversations with clarity and confidence.

5. Follow-Up Conversations

College decisions rarely happen in one conversation.

You will:

- Maintain consistent follow-ups
- Reconnect with students who are still evaluating options
- Continue guiding them until they make a final decision

6. Convert Interest Into Enrolment

The final responsibility is helping students move forward with admission support once they are confident in the decision.

This requires:

- Clear communication
- Strong persuasion skills
- Ability to build trust with families

Daily Work Structure

Typical daily activities include:

- Outbound calls to new leads
- Follow-up calls with existing prospects
- Consultation conversations with interested families
- Recording notes and updates in the system
- Coordinating with the admissions support team
