Asset Manager

Purpose of Job:

Develop, implement, and oversee the company operation strategies, governance, operating model, objectives, and annual goals to ensure the company meets operational excellence and creates stakeholders' values.

Monitor Hotel operations to make sure they operate as per standards, regulations, and perform at the maximum efficiency in terms of Budget, Revenue, and to maintain positive outcomes. Deliver financial goals, profitability, business growth, and overall value to shareholders through excellent Sales & Marketing and commercial pursuits.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Develop and implement the company operation strategy, governance, business goals, and operating models, consistent with the company's vision and mission statements to have a clear business direction.

Manage and implement the company operational excellence to make sure it meets the optimal operations level to achieve both the short- and long-term business goals. Ensure that the business has appropriate processes and systems to monitor and control its operations effectively.

Establish and implementing operation policies, processes, and controls in compliance with corporate policies, Manual of Authority, local authorities’ requirements, regulations, and international standards.

Work closely with hotel operators and other business partners and stakeholders to build strategic and mutually beneficial relationships and to resolve debates in the interests of

the organization.

Deliver operation stabilization, expansion, and growth of existing and new opportunities. Accomplish the market share objectives of the corporate strategy for all hotels, properties, and services of the company.

Direct the preparation and consolidation of budgets and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and other financial performance indicators.

Manage and oversee the implementation of employees' performance management, staff engagements, leadership development, learning & developments, and competency management to ensure the company has appropriate performance culture, an excellent working environment, and future leaders to meet business growth.

Safeguard the HSE practices and standards in order to provide safe and healthy working environment.

Review operating performance and identify high-level asset management strategy for each hotel, discuss it with stakeholders and develop a detailed execution plan. Establish and roll out a hotel asset management style reporting platform for all operating hotels.

Review the hotel product, its performance and positioning and formulate a turnaround plan to reestablish hotels as leading properties.

Establish a high-level brand refresh and expansion plan (with the help of a brand development consultant)

Lead and assist in resourcing hotel senior management and monitor their performance, competencies, and developments.

Along with Other management, support in the concept development for new assets (Properties, Hotels, Resorts).

Principal Challenges:

Managing conflicting stakeholder expectations.

Meeting business and financial target with challenging environment.

Mitigating Business programs and objectives in the midst of cash flaw.

Branding Company Hotels and its Brands identities.

Minimum Academic / Professional Qualification:

• BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MS/MBA is a plus. Broad knowledge of the lodging industry.
