Role Overview:
Join the dynamic Financial Services Supply Chain Management (SCM) team at Standard Chartered Bank in Bangalore, IND, focusing on optimizing Brokerage, Clearing, and Exchange (BCE) fees. Leverage your subject matter expertise to drive thought leadership, identify optimization opportunities, and enhance business Management Information systems for improved transparency. Collaborate closely with the Global Category Lead to achieve Fit For Growth (FFG) savings targets by the end of 2026, and embed the Financial Services operating model for sustained operational efficiency and cost discipline of BCE fees beyond the FFG timeframe.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Financial Services Category lead to develop, implement, and execute the strategy for managing the banks BCE vendors.
- Build out the new Financial Services capability, developing target operating models and ways of working/governance forums.
- Execute the banks FFG expense reduction targets by the end of 2026.
- Identify optimization opportunities and work with trading, sales, and clients to execute.
- Develop Sales and Trading Management Information to provide analytics for understanding key BC&E drivers, associated costs, and optimization opportunities.
- Develop strong business relationships across all stakeholders for successful implementation.
- Define strategic states with Operations and Finance teams to support best-in-class processing and Management Information generation.
- Maintain/automate processes with excellent data management skills.
- Prepare clear memos to Senior Stakeholders.
- Partner with outsourced providers for best-in-class operations.
- Build relationships across business/functions to deliver programme outcomes.
- Identify and implement mitigating controls in the BCE.
- Engage with key internal stakeholders for governance and alignment with the bank's broader objectives and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or other relevant field.

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Services or procurement-related field.
- Experience in negotiating commercial agreements and understanding Investment Banking products, market infrastructure, trading environment, and trade lifecycle.
- Proficiency in scripting (SQL/Python) and data analytic tools such as Tableau, Power BI.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of demonstrating ownership and ability to prioritize work under pressure. Role Overview:
