The Indian Institute of Fashion & Design (IIFD) is seeking a skilled and passionate CAD Design Faculty who has strong expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and a keen interest in teaching and mentoring students. The ideal candidate should be able to guide students in developing digital design skills and technical accuracy using industry-standard software.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and train students in CAD-based design software for fashion, interior, and textile design.
• Create and demonstrate accurate 2D and 3D digital designs using CAD tools.
• Guide students in developing technical drawings, layouts, and digital design projects.
• Convert conceptual design ideas into precise digital formats using CAD software.
• Conduct practical sessions, workshops, and software demonstrations for students.
• Assist students in CAD-based assignments, portfolios, and project work.
• Maintain organized digital files, design documentation, and course material.
• Coordinate with faculty members and academic teams for smooth execution of design projects and curriculum.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of CAD and digital design software, such as: TUKAcad, AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
• Good understanding of technical drawings, measurements, and design software applications.
• Strong attention to detail and digital design accuracy.
• Good communication and teaching skills.

Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in CAD design or teaching preferred.
• Freshers with strong CAD software knowledge and a creative portfolio may also apply.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,135.99 - ₹40,000.00 per month
