Position: Business Development & Strategic Partnership Manager – India Focus (Dubai Based)

Experience Required: Experience in crypto payments, digital assets and deep understanding of cryptocurrency ecosystems, blockchain infrastructure, and digital asset custody is required. Experience working with crypto wallets (custodial or non-custodial), digital asset platforms, or blockchain-based payment solutions — preferably similar to PayNex’s platform.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development & Strategic Partnership Manager with a strong understanding of the Indian payments and fintech ecosystem . This role will play a key part in expanding PayNex’s presence in India — building strategic partnerships, driving client engagement, and supporting revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Strategy & Expansion (India): Develop and execute strategic business development plans specifically for the Indian market, including target segmentation, OKRs, and KPI achievement.
  • Client & Partner Engagement: Lead regular touchpoints with Indian enterprise clients, payment service providers, banks, and key stakeholders to deepen engagement and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Client Solution Design: Work closely with clients to understand business needs and tailor PayNex’s solutions to local market requirements — including regulatory, payment rails, and integration nuances relevant to India.
  • End-to-End Client Onboarding: Run the full onboarding process for new Indian partners — from opportunity identification, account planning and negotiation to technical implementation and post-sales support.
  • Revenue & Growth: Identify new revenue opportunities across India and APAC, optimize deal structures, and drive payment volume growth.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent PayNex in industry forums, fintech events, and forums relevant to India and APAC.

  • Skills & Experience Required
  • 3–5+ years in business development, partnerships, or strategic sales — with a strong track record in the Indian fintech, payments, or banking ecosystem .
  • Proven experience engaging enterprise clients, payment platforms, banks, or financial institutions in India.
  • Prior exposure to custody, digital payments, wallets, or financial infrastructure platforms preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of Indian payment landscape, regulatory context, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent ability to manage long sales cycles and drive deals from lead to live accounts.
  • Fluent English; proficiency in Hindi, regional languages, or Mandarin a plus for certain markets.
  • Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and decision-makers.
