Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Surat for a Business Development Consultant. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating quality leads, consulting with clients to understand their needs, and creating tailored business plans. The consultant will collaborate with various teams to drive growth strategies while building and maintaining strong client relationships to fulfill business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, generate, and qualify leads through outbound outreach — including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, cold email sequences, social selling, and targeted campaigns.
  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries via calls, emails, and web forms, nurturing them into qualified prospects.
  • Research and segment target markets, identifying key decision-makers within IT, SaaS, and eCommerce businesses.
  • Create customized proposals and deliver impactful sales demos via Zoom, Google Meet, or other virtual platforms.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure smooth onboarding, retention, and account growth.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to align messaging, improve conversion rates, and refine the sales process.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in CRM systems (HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar), tracking KPIs and pipeline metrics.
  • Run outbound campaigns across LinkedIn, email marketing tools, and professional communities to generate new qualified opportunities.
  • Deliver exceptional post-sale support and ensure a seamless customer experience from first contact to handoff.

  • Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (BCA/MCA preferred).
  • 3–4+ years of proven experience in outbound B2B sales, business development, or lead generation — ideally within IT, SaaS, or software services.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, HubSpot, Lemlist, Mailshake, or similar outreach/CRM platforms.
  • Strong grasp of SaaS business models, software concepts, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a consultative sales approach.
  • Proven ability to prospect, nurture, and close opportunities across multiple geographies and time zones.
