Key Areas of Responsibility

• Facilitate professional and constructive communication with students through a text-based academic support platform.
• Provide accurate and timely responses to biology-related inquiries, with the ability to identify learning gaps and clarify misconceptions across core subject areas.
• Deliver structured and methodical explanations of biological concepts, utilizing appropriate instructional tools such as diagrams, flowcharts, illustrative examples, and real-world context to support comprehension.
• Conduct follow-up academic interactions to confirm understanding, tailoring explanations to align with the learner’s educational level and learning needs.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Prior experience teaching Biology at the senior secondary level or within an international curriculum framework.
• Familiarity with global education programs, including IB, Cambridge (IGCSE and A-Level), AP, or equivalent curricula, is preferred.
• Demonstrated strong written communication skills, with a professional, empathetic, and learner-oriented approach.
• Ability to maintain flexible availability, with an expected time commitment of approximately two hours per day.
