Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress and BigCommerce websites.
• Build custom themes, plugins, and integrations for WordPress.
• Customize BigCommerce themes and implement storefront features.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and shipping solutions.
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
• Ensure websites are responsive and compatible across browsers and devices.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain proper documentation of development processes and code.

Desired Profile

• 2–3 years of experience in WordPress and BigCommerce development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Familiarity with BigCommerce Stencil framework and APIs.
• Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of Git version control and deployment workflows.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and website optimization.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
