Job Description :

We are looking for a BI Developer with strong expertise in data processing and building scalable data pipelines using SQL, Power BI, and Python. In this role, you will own high-impact datasets and dashboards that inform critical business decisions across retail, finance, and logistics domains.

You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, building reliable ETL pipelines, and translating complex datasets into actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and network performance. Your work will directly influence key metrics such as seller discoverability, catalogue quality, order funnel conversion, turnaround time (TAT) adherence, fill rates, cancellations, and SLA compliance.

This is an on-site role based in New Delhi and requires working from the office.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

Data Ownership & ETL

• Take end-to-end ownership of high-frequency datasets including seller discoverability, catalogue quality, order funnels, SLA/TAT adherence, and compliance metrics.

• Build and maintain automated ETL pipelines using SQL, Python, and workflow automation tools.

• Ensure data reliability, accuracy, and timely refresh cycles.

• Proactively validate, optimize, and document datasets as trusted single sources of truth.

Dashboarding & Reporting :

• Design, develop, and manage Power BI dashboards with role-level security.

• Provide real-time visibility into order journeys, operational performance, and category-level growth.

• Continuously improve dashboard usability, performance, and data accuracy.

• Deliver automated reports and insight summaries highlighting trends, anomalies, and actionable outcomes for leadership and stakeholders.

Operational, API & Growth Analytics :

• Monitor and analyze key operational metrics such as TAT breaches, fill rates, cancellations, delivery aging, and SLA adherence.

• Work with API-based logs and event-driven datasets to understand end-to-end order lifecycle behavior and identify drop-offs.

• Ensure compliance and data integrity across buyer, seller, and logistics platforms.

• Build performance evaluation frameworks (e.g., participant scorecards) covering fulfillment quality, SLA adherence, and issue resolution.

• Partner with category and operations teams to identify catalogue visibility gaps, order journey bottlenecks, and growth opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement :

• Collaborate with internal teams to address operational and strategic challenges using data.

• Work closely with external ecosystem partners to resolve data-driven issues in catalogue onboarding, discovery, order flow, and fulfillment.

• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, business-focused manner.

Education & Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

• 3+ years of experience in data processing and building business-logic-driven data pipelines.

• Experience working with DAX queries and/or creating data models for BI tools.

• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in e-commerce, retail, or logistics analytics.

• Strong understanding of the digital commerce funnel, including catalogue ingestion, search and discovery, cart and checkout, order fulfillment SLAs, and post-purchase resolution.

Technical Skills :

• Advanced proficiency in SQL (preferably PostgreSQL) for querying, data modeling, and ETL.

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboarding, performance optimization, and role-level security.

• Working knowledge of Python for data processing, automation, and analysis.

• Advanced Excel skills for ad-hoc analysis and modeling.

• Experience analyzing transactional, API-driven, or event-based datasets.
