What we're looking for?

We need someone with 2-5 years of professional (non-internship) experience as a backend engineer, preferably in the data engineering or crypto/finance domain. You should be comfortable designing, scaling, and maintaining production systems, ideally within high-growth or early-stage environments, and have a track record of driving business impact. Bonus points if you have strong fundamentals with a cloud platform like GCP or AWS.

What you'll do:

• Build new features, products, integrations, and back-end services

• Design scalable systems to support millions of users

• Own and deliver top-level product and engineering objectives

• Collaborate with team members across the company

• Build new blockchain and exchange integrations and enrich blockchain data with DeFi categorization as well as exchange data with exchange-specific nuances

• Influence the product roadmap through your technical and domain expertise

Work experience :

• Knowledge or Expertise in Crypto

• Experience in high-​growth or early-​stage environments.​

• Experience designing,​ scaling,​ and maintaining production systems.​

• Experience building blockchain and exchange integrations.​

• Experience enriching blockchain data with DeFi categorization.​

• Experience with exchange data with exchange-​specific nuances.​

Education :

Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms,​ data structures,​ system design,​ distributed systems) often associated with a CS degree

Hard skills :

• Deep knowledge of backend technologies (databases,​ orchestrators,​ messaging systems,​ data pipelines).​

• Strong fundamentals with GCP or AWS cloud platform.​

• Proficiency in Python.​

• Experience with Flask,​ GraphQL,​ Postgres,​ BigTable,​ Redis,​ Python RQ,​ Temporal.​

• Experience with Terraform,​ Docker,​ Pub/Sub,​ Datadog,​ PagerDuty.​

Miscellaneous :
Able to overlap with core hours of 9 AM to 12 PM PT / 12 -​ 3 PM EST.​
