Backend Developer Intern (Node.js)

At Upcapto, we build operational software for businesses. One of the core systems under development is Etelios, a business operating platform that helps companies manage workflows, teams, operations and internal processes.

Think of it as the kind of system that quietly powers how companies run.

That means the backend matters a lot.

We’re looking for a Backend Developer Intern who enjoys thinking about systems, APIs, logic and how things connect.

What you’ll work on

• REST APIs
• Database models
• Authentication systems
• Business logic layers
• Integrations with external services

Primary stack includes:

• Node.js
• Express.js or NestJS
• Databases like MongoDB or PostgreSQL

What we look for

You might enjoy this role if:

• You like solving logical problems
• APIs and system design sound interesting
• You have built backend projects before
• You understand databases and data structures
• You are comfortable pushing code on GitHub

Bonus points if you:

• Have built APIs before
• Understand authentication systems
• Enjoy debugging difficult problems

Stipend

₹8,000 per month.

That number mostly applies to people who walk in and behave like interns.

Every now and then someone walks in and behaves like an engineer.

Those situations tend to be handled slightly differently.
