Job Title: Backend Developer (Node.js)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Backend Developer (Node.js) with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should be proficient in server-side development, API design, database management, and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs
• Develop secure, high-performance server-side applications
• Work with databases like MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL
• Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, etc.)
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams
• Manage deployment on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Node.js development
• Strong knowledge of Express.js or similar frameworks
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Good understanding of database design and queries
• Knowledge of Git version control
• Experience with Docker is a plus
• Understanding of security best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Redis, caching strategies
• Experience working in Agile environment
