We are looking for a PHP WordPress developer to join our dynamic team. As a WordPress Developer, you will work with other team members, such as UI Designers and front-end Engineers, etc., to develop custom websites on the WordPress platform. You’ll help with the customization and maintenance of existing complex projects running millions of page views per month.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain robust WordPress websites and applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the design and development team to implement visually appealing website designs and seamless functionality.
- Optimize websites for exceptional performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and debug website issues, bugs, and compatibility problems to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure cross-browser compatibility and seamless functionality across various devices.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in WordPress development.

Requirements:

- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in PHP development, with a solid focus on WordPress, is preferred.
- Good to have experience supporting app/mobile teams with backend integration, including GraphQL (queries & mutations) and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Extensive knowledge of WordPress theme and plugin development, customization, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of WordPress APIs, hooks, and filters.
- Solid grasp of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualification: Professional Degrees such as B.Tech/B.E, M.C.A, B.C.A.
