Marketing Strategy and Support Analyst (Remote)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Strategy and Support Analyst to help drive our expansion efforts. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with an analytical mindset, strong organizational skills, and a solid grasp of B2B marketing for a professional services firm.

You will utilize your strategic skills to research markets and recommend campaign approaches, while simultaneously using your support skills to manage our marketing tools, deploy communications, and coordinate event logistics. You’ll collaborate closely with our sales and recruiting teams to help manage data and content, execute campaigns, and evaluate performance across multiple channels. Full-time Contractor. (We are open to part-time to start.)

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities: This role is divided into two primary areas: Strategy & Analysis, and Campaign Support & Execution.

1. Strategy and Analysis
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct research to deeply understand Buxton Consulting’s services, Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), competition, and the state of the IT consulting market.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Analyze findings and make data-backed recommendations on how Marketing can best help Buxton attract new customers and enter new market segments.
  • Performance Tracking: Assist in capturing and tracking all Marketing communications and campaign performance within our CRM tool to maintain an accurate view of results.

  • 2. Campaign Support and Execution
  • Communications Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop, edit, and manage client and prospect communications (emails, newsletters, press releases).
  • Tool and Platform Management: Manage our marketing technology stack and all associated activities across social media, email marketing platforms (e.G., Mailchimp), and press releases. Recommend new tools as needed for improved effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Content Support: Generate ideas for high-quality blogs and other value-add content that differentiates Buxton and assist in the final editing and publishing of this content.
  • Events Coordination: Support content creation and logistics for industry conferences, events, and forums. This includes researching event opportunities and costs, coordinating content design, and managing the printing and shipping of event materials.
  • Recruitment Marketing: Assist in creating communications and content specifically designed to attract staffing and employee candidates to Buxton Consulting across the US, India, and Mexico operations.

  • What We’re Looking For (Required Qualifications)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1–2+ years experience in a marketing-related role, with a focus on either execution or data analysis.
  • B2B Campaign Experience: Solid grasp of B2B marketing principles and digital B2B marketing campaign workflows.
  • Technical Tools: Hands-on experience with social media scheduling and email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.
  • Artificial Intelligence: Good understanding of the effective use of AI in B2B Marketing and ability to evaluate AI’s use in Buxton’s Marketing approach.
  • Core Skills: Strong analytical mindset, excellent organizational and project coordination skills, and proven attention to detail.
  • Communication: High intermediate to advanced level of English (written and spoken) is required, B2 – C1 on the CEFR scale.
  • Work Ethic: Proactive, responsive, and comfortable working remotely.

  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the IT Consulting or Professional Services industry.
  • CRM Experience: Experience in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
