Role Summary

We are seeking an accomplished finance leader to oversee Financial Planning C Analysis, Controllership, and Internal Controls for the organization. This role is pivotal in driving financial discipline, ensuring compliance, and partnering with business leadership to enable strategic decision-making. The incumbent will bring deep expertise in financial governance along with strong business acumen to balance growth and control.

Key Responsibilities

Controllership, Governance, Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to SEBI, Companies Act, MCA, RBI, and other applicable regulatory frameworks.

  • Establish and strengthen internal controls, delegation of authority, and governance policies.

  • Act as the finance point of contact for statutory auditors, bankers, lawyers, and tax consultants.

  • Ensure accurate, timely, and audit-compliant financial reporting with zero tolerance for qualifications.

  • Own the compliance charter including GST, TDS, income tax, transfer pricing, and regulatory filings.

  • Strengthen systems and policies across revenue recognition, AR/AP, refunds, payment gateways, and audit trails.

  • Enhance finance team maturity in stewardship, governance, data integrity, and cross-functional alignment.

  • Strategic Financial Planning G Analysis (FPGA)

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting across revenue, opex, capex, cash flows, and profitability metrics.

  • Provide in-depth business performance analysis including KPIs, scenario planning, and variance reporting. • Advise leadership on margin improvements, cost optimization, and ROI of key initiatives.

  • Deliver board-level financial storytelling with investor-grade clarity and insights.

  • Support financial due diligence, investor presentations, and leadership decision-making in coordination with the CFO.

  • Reporting, Insights G Automation

  • Build MIS frameworks, dashboards, monthly reporting packs, and quarterly review documents.

  • Drive automation in financial reporting, reconciliations, and transaction-level processes for scalability.

  • Deliver actionable insights to enable faster and sharper decision-making.

  • Champion data standardisation, transparency, and drill-down analysis across functions.

  • Team Leadership

  • Mentor, develop, and retain a high-performing finance team with strong ownership and compliance discipline.

  • Foster a culture of precision, transparency, and audit-readiness.

  • Collaborate effectively with product, sales, legal, operations, and investor relations teams to align financial strategy with business outcomes.

  • What we’re looking for

  • Ǫualified Chartered Accountant only with 18–20 years of post-qualification experience.

  • Experience in FPCA, Controllership, Governance, and Internal Controls.

  • Deep knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, business performance analysis, and board-level reporting.

  • Proven experience in building and leading high-performing finance team.

  • Strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder management skills.
