You will be a key client and lender-facing professional managing the full deal lifecycle from evaluating proposals and building financial models to preparing IMs, engaging lenders, negotiating terms, and closing sanctions. Your role will also involve contributing actively to business development and client acquisition.
  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • - Deal Evaluation & Proposal Structuring
    - Evaluate debt proposals for financial viability, credit quality, and appropriate facility structure (term loan, working capital, NCD, etc.).
    - Analyse client financials, business models, and risk factors; identify gaps and strengthen the credit story before lender approach.
    - Client Needs Assessment
    - Conduct detailed discussions with promoters and CFOs to understand funding requirements and translate them into bankable financing solutions.
    - Manage ongoing client relationships and ensure high levels of engagement throughout the deal lifecycle.
    - Information Memorandum & Pitch Preparation
    - Prepare high-quality Information Memoranda (IMs), pitch reports, and lender presentations that compellingly capture the client's business and funding proposition.
    - Ensure all documents are accurate, well-structured, and tailored to each lender's specific requirements and appetite.
    - Financial Modelling
    - Build lender-ready financial models covering projected P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows over a 510 year horizon.
    - Compute key credit metrics DSCR, ICR, TOL/TNW, and leverage ratios and perform sensitivity and scenario analysis (base, optimistic, stress).
    - Model project finance structures including drawdown schedules, moratorium periods, and repayment waterfalls where applicable.
    - Validate models against audited financials and MIS data; update dynamically during lender negotiations as terms evolve.
    - Lender Engagement & Negotiation
    - Present proposals to banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions; manage queries and coordinate site visits as required.
    - Negotiate pricing, security, covenants, and disbursement conditions to secure the best possible terms for clients.
    - Sanction Closure & Deal Management
    - Own the end-to-end deal lifecycle from mandate to final sanction and disbursement, coordinating with legal and documentation teams.
    - Manage multiple live transactions simultaneously, maintaining deal trackers and providing timely updates to clients and management.
    - Business Development
    - Independently identify and originate new client mandates through market research, referrals, and proactive outreach to corporates and promoters.
    - Build and nurture a strong pipeline of prospective clients across target sectors such as real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, and services.
    - Represent Leverest Financial Ltd at industry conferences, banking events, and sector forums to enhance visibility and generate leads.
  • *Qualifications & Experience**
  • - MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA or equivalent from a reputed institution.
    - 58 years in debt syndication, structured finance, corporate banking, or credit advisory.
    - Proven track record of independently closing debt transactions with banks and financial institutions.
    - Strong financial modelling skills and hands-on experience preparing IMs and pitch decks.
