We are looking for a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer who can bridge the gap between manual validation and automated efficiency, ensuring our web releases are fast, stable, and scalable.

Role Overview

As an Automation QA Engineer at Project Tree, you will be responsible for the end-to-end automation of our web and mobile applications. You will lead the testing efforts for our web releases, focusing on improving test automation coverage and integrating quality into the CI/CD pipeline. You will review QA processes and support production issue analysis while maintaining a strong focus on functional integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Leadership: Lead testing efforts for major web releases; identify and implement opportunities to improve test automation coverage. Analyze business requirements and technical specifications
• Framework & Strategy: Create and maintain robust test strategies and plans; ensure a risk-based testing approach is applied to all automated suites.
• Process Improvement: Review test cases and QA processes to identify bottlenecks; support production issue analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• CI/CD Integration: Work with DevOps to integrate automated tests into Jenkins or similar CI/CD pipelines.
• Execution: Design and execute automated functional and regression tests for enterprise web applications. Perform exploratory testing

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Expertise: 5+ years in Automation/Software Testing with a focus on web application frameworks (Selenium/Playwright).
• Tooling: Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and performance testing tools like JMeter.
• QA Foundations: Deep knowledge of software testing methodologies, Agile/Scrum, and test case design.
• Good to Have: Experience in cloud-based testing environments and mobile testing (Android/iOS).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, mentorship abilities, and excellent stakeholder communication.
