About this opportunity:

Ericsson is a global leader in the telecommunications industry, providing innovative solutions to enhance connectivity and communication across the world. We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with extensive experience in Ericsson’s Enable tool to join our team in Noida. The ideal candidate will possess 4-8 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Enable. You will be instrumental in developing and optimizing automation solutions to enhance our network management capabilities and operational efficiency.

What you will do:

Automation Development: Design, develop, and implement automation solutions utilizing Ericsson Enable to streamline network operations, reduce manual tasks, and improve overall system efficiency.
Integration & Configuration: Integrate automation solutions with existing network systems and tools. Configure and customize Enable to meet specific operational requirements and enhance functionality.
Testing & Validation: Perform rigorous testing and validation of automation scripts and tools to ensure they function correctly within the network environment and meet performance standards.
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support for issues related to automation and Enable, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to resolve problems efficiently.

The skills you bring:

4-8 years of professional experience in automation engineering with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience using Ericsson Enable.
Proficiency with Ericsson Enable, including configuration, scripting, and automation tasks. Strong skills in programming languages relevant to automation, such as Python, Shell scripting, or similar.
Java programming skills, Web technologies, knowledge, and development experience, primarily on UNIX / Linux platform. software development experience in (Java, Groovy, JavaScript, extjs, Multithreading, JIRA)
Good to have - knowledge and skills on any RDBMS, preferably on SQL.
Good solid understanding of packet networking. Development experience on this would be a definite plus.
