As a Customer Portfolio Manager at HSBC, your role will involve assisting in retaining and growing customer relationships, business strategy, operational policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices. You will be expected to acquire an in-depth knowledge of your clients' business activities to manage a portfolio of Business Banking clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Activating customers within the portfolio to generate business
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to service the client and adhere to internal guidelines
- Managing a portfolio of clients to enhance HSBC's wallet share by deepening relationships
- Actively cross-selling other HSBC products to increase wallet share
- Understanding the customers' needs and delivering desired solutions effectively
- Performing periodic due diligence on all relationships managed

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of how businesses operate, especially in the SME space, and possess the acumen to grasp business dynamics. The ideal candidate for this position will hold a Post Graduate (Masters)/ MBA degree with two to five years of work experience.
