We are seeking a proactive and versatile Associate – Partnerships & Communications to support our organization’s engagement with partners while strengthening our communication and brand presence. The role will involve managing stakeholder relationships, developing impactful communication materials, and executing digital and public relations initiatives that effectively showcase the organization’s work and impact.

The ideal candidate will combine strong interpersonal skills with creative storytelling and digital communication expertise.

Key Responsibilities1. Partnerships & Stakeholder Management
  • Manage ongoing communication with existing funding and program partners to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely updates.
  • Support the cultivation of strategic partnerships through targeted research and outreach.
  • Identify and assess potential partners, collaborators, and funding opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission.

  • 2. Communications & Digital Strategy
  • Assist in developing and implementing integrated communication strategies across digital and traditional platforms.
  • Draft, edit, and publish high-quality content including press releases, articles, newsletters, and social media posts.
  • Manage website updates and maintain consistent digital presence across social media platforms.
  • Plan and execute social media strategies to increase engagement, visibility, and audience growth.
  • Support internal communications and manage content distribution channels.

  • 3. Documentation & Public Relations
  • Prepare presentations, impact reports, and communication materials for donors, partners, and public audiences.
  • Research, write, and edit content for publications and outreach materials.
  • Assist in developing basic multimedia content including photographs and short videos for communication purposes.
  • Track and analyze communication metrics to evaluate public perception and recommend improvements to outreach strategies.

  • Preferred Qualifications & Skills

    Education
    Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

    Experience
    Minimum 2 years of experience in communications, partnerships, public relations, or related roles (experience in the nonprofit or social sector is preferred).

    Communication Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong storytelling ability.
  • Ability to translate program activities and impact into compelling narratives.

  • Social Media & Digital Skills
  • Experience managing platforms such as Instagram, X (Twitter), and Facebook.
  • Understanding of social media analytics, digital engagement, and media relations.

  • Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Working knowledge of design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
