Role Description

Monitoring & Controlling is responsible for supervising and monitoring construction sites and company-owned properties to ensure safety, security, and operational compliance. The role involves maintaining vigilance during day and night shifts, identifying irregular activities, coordinating with site teams, and supporting the Property Management team in maintaining company assets.

• Responsible for supervising and monitoring construction sites and company-owned properties to ensure safety, security, and operational compliance. The role involves maintaining vigilance during day and night shifts, identifying irregular activities, coordinating with site teams, and supporting the Property Management team in maintaining company assets.
• Monitor construction project progress against schedules and milestones, maintain a daily dashboard for all active projects (framing, MEP, insulation, drywall, finishing), track subcontractor work, and report delays, risks, or quality issues to management.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, and project managers in the USA to verify work completion, maintain communication between the India monitoring team and Houston site teams, and support project execution including final reconciliation and lessons learned.
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring reports, progress presentations, project summaries, and performance updates for senior management.
• Maintain proper documentation and records including site photos, inspection reports, permit approvals, compliance documents, monitoring logs, shift reports, and incident records with timestamps and screenshots.
• Review inspection reports and ensure compliance with Houston construction regulations, company safety standards, and operational procedures while reporting any hazards, violations, or irregularities.
• Monitor worker, contractor, and subcontractor attendance and productivity, review attendance logs, track manpower allocation, identify absenteeism or late arrivals, and detect unauthorized access or workforce irregularities.
• Verify material deliveries against purchase orders, track material usage to prevent shortages or theft, and monitor equipment movement and installation progress on site.
• Monitor construction sites and company-owned properties during assigned shifts to ensure safety, security, and compliance, observe site activities, and immediately escalate emergencies or security concerns.
• Utilize monitoring systems such as EZVIZ cameras, Ring cameras, MyQ App, and thermostat systems, and coordinate updates through WhatsApp groups and monitoring platforms.
• Support property management by monitoring company-owned properties, tracking usage and maintenance needs, reporting damages or suspicious activity, and coordinating with relevant departments until issues are resolved.

Technical Req. Skills

• Strong knowledge of residential construction processes.
• Understanding of construction stages such as framing, plumbing, electrical, insulation, drywall, and finishing.
• Strong analytical and monitoring skills.
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with international teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with construction monitoring tools, dashboards, and reporting systems.
• Ability to analyze site photos, drawings, and inspection reports.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
