Job Description:
As a Relationship Manager responsible for originating and building Liabilities business for the allotted region, your role will involve working closely with coverage and product partners to implement the business strategy. You will be expected to originate clients with a focus on liabilities, deliver agreed business performance targets, manage client relationships, and ensure fair treatment of CCIB clients in the respective zone. Additionally, you will collaborate with other product partners to identify opportunities, cross-sell products, run successful campaigns, organize client events, and enhance visibility in the market for Standard Chartered and its Cash Management Products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Originate clients with a Liabilities focus
- Deliver agreed business performance targets for the liabilities team in the respective Zone
- Manage client relationships, client service, and ensure fair treatment of CCIB clients
- Collaborate with product partners to identify opportunities and cross-sell products
- Organize client events, run successful campaigns, and enhance visibility in the market
- Identify client needs, engage key influencers and decision makers, develop solutions, and lead proposals and pitches to clients
- Understand local markets, customer segmentation, buyer behavior, and competitor analysis
- Provide Market Intelligence inputs to Product teams, generate new ideas, and highlight Product Gaps
- Map out client ecosystem and identify opportunities to bank the ecosystem
- Play an active role in credit and other approvals

Qualifications Required:
- Significant Corporate Banking sales experience, ideally in building liabilities business in an international/regional environment
- Strong knowledge of legal, economic, and regulatory environment in the country and key trading corridors
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to articulate and communicate business goals
- In-depth understanding of regulations associated with domestic and cross-border flows
- Transaction Banking product knowledge
- Communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills
- Business understanding of Non-Bank Financial Institution clients
- Sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Understanding of recent technologies in cash management
- Deal closure and execution skills
- Experience in leading complex projects to address working capital needs of clients
