Smart Bhujal is an IIT-incubated geospatial water intelligence startup working on groundwater analytics, watershed analysis, and AI-driven water insights. We work with industries, researchers, and sustainability teams to solve complex water challenges using geospatial data, modeling, and advanced analytics.

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a Master’s degree in Water Resources / Environmental Engineering to assist in managing technical water projects and coordinating project execution.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (M.Tech / M.E.) in Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, or related field

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in water, hydrology, watershed, or environmental projects. Freshers with exceptional grades will also be considered.

  • Understanding of watershed hydrology, groundwater systems, or water resource management

  • Ability to interpret maps, drainage plans, and catchment area analysis

  • Strong skills in Excel, technical documentation, and report preparation

  • Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

  • Experience with GIS tools (QGIS or ArcGIS)

  • Exposure to hydrological or hydraulic modeling tools such as SWMM, HEC-RAS, MODFLOW, or similar

  • Understanding of rainwater harvesting, watershed management, or groundwater studies

  • Role Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and coordinating water and geospatial projects

  • Support technical analysis related to watersheds, groundwater, and water data

  • Work with geospatial datasets and hydrological information

  • Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and presentations

  • Coordinate with internal teams, partners, and project stakeholders

The role is based in our office in Tirupati and offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge water analytics, geospatial intelligence, and AI applications in water management
