Job Title: Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance

Department: Accounts & Finance
Reporting To: General Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance to oversee payables, taxation, audits, and promoters’ books of accounts. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on accounting expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple responsibilities while ensuring full compliance with statutory and internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process vendor and service provider payments in line with approved credit terms and authorization controls.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts with proper supporting documentation.
  • Prepare advance tax computations and related schedules.
  • Assist in preparation and timely filing of various tax returns as per statutory requirements.
  • Supervise and control petty cash operations, including reconciliation and verification.
  • Manage insurance policies, renewals, documentation, and coordination with insurance companies.
  • Support statutory, internal, and bank audits by preparing schedules, data, and required clarifications.
  • Prepare MIS reports, payables analysis, and financial summaries for management review.
  • Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Handle promoters’ books of accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • CA Intermediate qualified OR experience working under a Chartered Accountant preferred.

  • Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong hands-on experience in Tally accounting software.
  • Experience handling multi-branch accounting operations.
  • Exposure to high-value transactions and financial controls.
  • Good knowledge of taxation, audits, and statutory compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines efficiently.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
